Privacy policy

Who we are
Pinrom Focus is a product of Pinrom (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the marketing website at https://focus.pinrom.co and the Pinrom Focus application. Questions go to support@pinrom.co.
What we collect
Account information
- Name, email address and password (stored hashed) when you create an account.
- Workspace name, member invitations, and billing status for team workspaces. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
Connected-tool credentials
- When you connect ClickUp, Trello or Asana, you paste a personal API token. Tokens are encrypted at rest, used only server-side to call that tool on your behalf, and never exposed to your browser or shared with third parties.
- You can revoke a token in the source tool, and disconnect it from Pinrom Focus, at any time.
Data pulled from connected tools
- The names and identifiers of the workspaces, lists, boards, projects and tasks you choose to map and pull, so they can appear in your task picker and on your timesheet.
- We pull on demand (when you open or focus on a list) — we do not continuously sync your client’s workspace.
Time data
- Focus sessions and manual time entries: start and end times, duration, the task, your session note, billable flag, and any rates you set.
- With your action, a copy of a session’s time is written back to the task in the source tool as a time entry or comment. What happens to that copy is governed by the source tool’s own terms.
Website usage
- Essential cookies needed to run the site and remember your cookie choice.
- With your consent, analytics events (page views and clicks on sign-up and pricing) via PostHog and/or Google Tag Manager. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To provide the service: pulling tasks, timing sessions, writing time back, building your timesheet and exports.
- To operate and secure accounts, process team-plan billing, and respond to support requests.
- To understand how the website and product are used, in aggregate, so we can improve them.
Data retention and disconnecting a tool
[Under review] When you connect a tool you choose whether to keep the time data that originated from it in your Pinrom Focus account if you later disconnect. If you keep it, disconnecting removes only the connection and its credentials; your timesheet entries and mirrored tasks remain. If you do not, disconnecting also removes the entries and mirrored tasks from that tool. Disconnecting never writes to or deletes anything in the source tool.
Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted on request or after account closure, subject to legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the product (hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics), with the tools you explicitly connect, and where required by law.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw analytics consent at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. Contact support@pinrom.co for any request.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Connected-tool tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.
Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the product.
